A centrifugal pump is a pump that transports liquid by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller. Before the pump starts, water must be filled into the casing and suction pipe. Then, start the motor so that the pump shaft drives the impeller and makes it rotate at higher speeds. Water undergoes centrifugal motion and is thrown to the outer edge of the impeller, passing through a worm bearing and entering into a flow channel of a shell where it becomes pressurized water line of a pump.
