Working principle of submersible well pump

 

The impeller of the submersible pump is driven by the submersible motor to rotate, so that a vacuum is formed at the inlet of the impeller, water is sucked in, and the water generates centrifugal force under the action of the impeller blades, thereby obtaining speed energy and pressure energy. The water with a certain amount of energy passes through the guide casing and enters the impeller of the next stage. With the increase of pump stages, the pressure increases continuously, and finally it is sent into the pipeline system on the ground through the lift pipe and the pump base.

✔️Inspection and preparation before installation

 

  1. Check whether the well conforms to the conditions of use of the pump, that is, the diameter of the well, the quality of the vertical and the good wall, as well as the static water level, dynamic water level, water inflow and water quality conditions.

  1. Remove the water filter screen in one unit with the pump, and then open the water injection and air vent bolts to fill the inner cavity of the motor with clean water. Make sure to fill it up to prevent false full. And check all parts of the motor for water leakage. If water leakage is found, adjust the gasket and tighten the bolts according to the location.

 

  1. Carefully check whether the cables and connectors are bumped or damaged, and wrap them up in time if any problems are found.

 

  1. Use a 500-volt megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the windings not less than 150 megohms.

 

  1. Install the protection switch and starting equipment, and check whether the water in the motor is full. Tighten the water injection and air vent bolts, and then install the wire guard and water filter to prepare for installation.

 

  1. Install a short water delivery pipe section at the water outlet of the pump, clamp it with a splint, lift it and drop it into the well, so that the splint is seated on the good platform.

 

  1. Use a pair of splints to clamp another section of the water pipe, then lift and lower it to connect with the short water pipe flange. Lift the hoisting chain to remove the first pair of splints, so that the pump tube is lowered into the well and sits on the good platform, and the installation is repeated in sequence, and then goes down the well until all the installations are completed, and the last splint is not removed to fix the pump on the wellhead.

 

  1. Finally put on the manhole cover, elbow, gate valve outlet pipe, etc.

 

  1. Each time the flange is connected, a rubber pad should be added, and the fastening screws should be tightened in the direction of the dime at the same time after alignment to prevent skewed water leakage.

 

  1. The cable should be fixed in the groove on the flange of the water delivery pipe, and each section should be fixed with a rope. Be careful during the process of going down the well. The cable cannot be used as a sling, let alone bump the cable.

 

  1. There is a stuck phenomenon in the process of pumping down. It is necessary to overcome the stuck point and not force the pump to avoid being stuck.
