Common faults and troubleshooting methods of hydraulic pumps

Fault manifestation 1: The oil level of the hydraulic oil tank is too low

Remedy: add hydraulic oil.

Failure manifestation 2: hydraulic oil is not used seasonally

Remedy: Usually 46# hydraulic oil (or 68#) is suitable for use without special replacement. Consider using 32# when it is extremely cold in the north in winter.

Failure manifestation 3: The oil inlet pipe is seriously blocked by dirt

Remedy: remove the foreign body in the tube.

Fault manifestation 4: The oil seal of the driving gear of the oil pump is damaged, and the air enters the hydraulic system

Remedy: Replace the aged or damaged oil seal and O-ring.

Failure manifestation 5: The oil pump inlet and outlet joints or the "O" ring of the elbow joint are damaged, the elbow joint fastening bolts or the inlet and outlet pipe nuts are not tightened, and the air enters the hydraulic system

Remedy: Replace the O-ring and tighten the bolts or nuts at the joints.

Failure manifestation 6: The oil pump leaks and the sealing ring is aging

Remedy: replace the sealing ring.

Failure manifestation 7: The end face of the oil pump or the end face of the main and driven gear bushings is worn or scratched, and the unevenness of the end faces of the two bushings is out of tolerance

Remedy: Replace the worn gear oil pump or oil pump bushing, and grind the end face on the flat plate when the wear is slight. The allowable error of its unevenness is 0.03mm; the end face of the upper bushing is lower than the pump body, and the upper plane (normal value is lower than 2.5~2.6mm), if it is out of tolerance, the lower bushing should be compensated by adding 0.1~0.2mm copper sheet. It should be installed on the rear axle sleeve.

Failure manifestation 8: Internal leakage caused by incorrect assembly of internal parts of the oil pump

Remedy: The unloading piece and the sealing ring must be installed in the oil cavity, and the two shaft sleeves can be kept in balance. The elastic force of the guide wire should be able to twist the upper and lower bushings at the same time towards the rotation direction of the driven gear by a slight angle so that the machining planes of the two bushings of the main and driven gears closely fit; To eliminate the harmful dead volume when the gears mesh; before pressing the self-tightening oil seal, apply a layer of lubricating oil on its surface, and pay attention to the oil-blocking edge facing the front cover. Pour a small amount of hydraulic oil into the pump housing and turn the meshing gear by hand.

Fault manifestation 9: "Left-rotation" oil pump is installed with the "right-rotation" oil pump, resulting in damage to the skeleton oil seal

Remedy: The "right-hand" pump cannot be installed on the "left-hand" machine, otherwise the skeleton oil seal will be damaged.

Failure manifestation 10: hydraulic oil is too dirty

Remedy: Clean the system and replace the hydraulic oil.

Failure manifestation 11: The filter of the pump is blocked by dirt and cannot filter oil

Remedy: Remove dirt from the filter with clean cleaning oil.

Failure manifestation 12: The oil level is insufficient, the oil suction position is too high, and the oil suction pipe is exposed to the oil surface

Remedy: Refuel to the oil mark level and lower the oil suction position.

Failure manifestation 13: There are no paper pads on both sides of the pump body and the pump cover; the pump body and the pump cover are not vertically sealed

Remedy: Inhale air during rotation: add paper pads between the pump body and the pump cover; grind the pump body on a flat plate with emery, so that the vertical error between the pump body and the pump cover does not exceed 0.005mm, and tighten the connection between the pump body and the pump cover, there must be no leakage.

Failure manifestation 14: The drive shaft of the pump is not concentric with the motor coupling, and there is twisting friction

Remedy: Adjust the concentricity of the pump and the motor coupling so that the error does not exceed 0.2mm.

Fault manifestation 15: The meshing accuracy of the pump gear is not enough

Remedy: grind the gears to achieve the gear meshing accuracy.

Failure manifestation 16: The oil seal skeleton of the pump shaft falls off, and the pump body is not sealed

Remedy: Replace the qualified pump shaft oil seal.
